Built for the future

Inspired by Nature

The future always seems so far away. When people imagined 2020, they saw chrome, flying cars, and technology beyond our wildest imagination. We see the future as more organic… replacing that cold chrome with warm wood. The future builds with nature at its core - so does Mayson. We take our design cues from what we see in the wild.

What's Good?

We say ‘good’ quite a bit here. Our mission with Mayson is to make good stuff while treating everyone in the supply chain, including our planet, good. It’s a simple concept, really, but one that’s surprisingly hard to find. We've done our part to find responsible production partners and ethically sourced raw materials. That's good.

Good Cotton

We only use 100% GOTS certified cotton in all of our garments. GOTS not only certified that the cotton is organic, but that all of the stakeholders throughout the supply chain are treated humanely. We work with Bergman Rivera, a family owned company with over 35 years in the organic cotton textile industry in Peru, to source our raw materials. Bergman Rivera supports more than 160 families across 3 valleys with hundreds of acres of organic cotton production. Our cotton is GOTS, USDA and EU certified organic as well as certified fair trade.

Good Factories

We split our production between Peru and Portugal. All of our knits are produced in Peru while our woven’s, a Portuguese specialty, is done there. We work with MJAC in Portugal. While they do the highest quality work, they also provide their employees some unique benefits. They have an organic farm on the factory property where, everyday, ingredients from the farm are made into a soup which is provided, free of charge, to all of the employees. Good people.
